Vai'kesh Prophet

Vai'kesh Prophet is a magic creature in Dungeon Siege II and Broken World.

Template name: vaikesh_warlock_leader_boss_stats

The present day Vai'kesh remain ostracized and dwell in a tight-knit, cult-like community led by this one, the Vai'kesh Prophet. The Prophet is very old and very intelligent -- but not completely sane. He has visions of the future and is extremely powerful.

The start of the game’s own Bestiary text.

Confidence: Medium Worked out from the formulas in the creature’s template, for the levels the template gives. Not compared with the game’s own Bestiary screen; spawn spots may change a monster’s level.

Weaknesses and resistances

MercenaryVeteranElite
Lightning-50%-25%-10%
Death+50%+100%+150%

Confidence: Medium As written in the template. A negative number means it takes more damage of that kind. Values of 100% and more are shown as given; the effect of going past 100% has not been tested.

Where it is found

In-game kill test: died, no credit (DISAGREES with the data audit). victim died (life state dead/gone) but no k: moved

Natural spawn census: seen in 1 of 10 runs, most in one region: 3. A lower bound; a run only loads the areas near the party.

Bestiary fix package (in testing, not released): killing the Prophet that rides it counts (proven on Steam and in Broken World).

Confidence: High Tested on a private copy of the game.

Kill counts are kept separately for Mercenary, Veteran and Elite. See how the Bestiary works.
